Taylor Swift, the 21 year old superstar country singer, is incorporating circus arts into her new “Speak Now” tour; joining the ranks of other pop-divas such as Rhianna, Pink and Britney Spears. The elaborate tour integrates theatrical showmanship and stylings inspired by Cirque du Soleil.
The show starts off with a literal bang with fireworks firing from cannons during the song “Sparks Fly” and ends with the song “Love Story,” performed as Taylor floats high above the audience in an enclosed balcony while aerialists soar around her.
